Rich has over 25 years of experience specializing in state and local sales and use taxes. Rich has considerable expertise in sales and use tax recovery, audit support, process improvement, automation and transaction tax planning. He has worked with many Fortune 500 companies engaged in the energy, financial services, manufacturing, retail, technology, and utility sectors.
Prior to joining GMG in 2017, Rich was a partner in the State and Local Tax practice at PricewaterhouseCoopers L.L.P. where he led the National Reverse Audit practice and focused on tax recovery projects. Rich also spent 5 years with the Pennsylvania Department of Revenue as a Taxation Audit Specialist. He is a CPA and earned his B.A. in Economics from the University of Pittsburgh and a Master of Science in Taxation from Duquesne University.
